En el debut de temporada en la Liga del Bermejo, el “ROJO” derrotó en cancha de Pizarro por 3 a 1 a Unión Ferroviarios de Pichanal, siendo el capitán del equipo “tito” Mamaní quien además marcó el tercer gol de INDEPENDIENTE.
